The Shenango Valley Mall is a good family friendly place to visit. Sears and Macy's closed in March 2017, but hopefully another big retailer will move in. JCPenney's is packed full of inventory. There are also some nice clothing and jewelry stores, a bookstore, Payless Shoes, Bath & Body Works, Hallmark, some popular beauty shops, play areas for children, Annie Anne's, and various restaurants in the area.
As known in other review of this mall, it is practically vacant. There are a couple of stores left. Including JC Penny, Payless Shoes, Maurices, Christopher Banks, Auntie Ann’s, a coffee shop (new), Claire’s, the antique shop, and two hair salons plus a nail salon. And not to mention, the exceptional eyebrow threading place, Unique Eyebrow & Spa, which is one the only reasons people come to this mall. A mall should have more than a couple of stores. And this mall is practically one line down the middle. Extremely small for a mall. I feel bad for the stores there because owners have changed and most of the shops left because the rent have kept rising. That’s why all of them mostly left.
Many stores closed. Very sparse. Seems on its way out. Good if you want a quiet place to relax or walk/socialize.
I have very fond memories of the glory days at this place. JCPenney still is awesome but nothing else is left!
This mall is almost empty, All but J C Penny, s the big name store,s are gone. It,s pitiful no people hardly at all. Poor Santa and no kids.
